Industria Chimica General was established in the first half of the 1970s by starting the industrial production of marble putty. From the very beginning, General invested in research into new types of marble putties, later also dedicating itself to the production of epoxy resins for bonding, grouting and laminating materials such as marble, granite, quartz and porcelain stoneware. Over the years, General has expanded its product range with traditional and innovative resin and diamond abrasives, marble polishing powders and protective treatments that make marble impervious to external agents.

Today the company is able to offer a complete line of products for the care and maintenance of marble.

Industria Chimica General S.r.l. complies with the requirements of UNI EN ISO 9001:2015. This certification protects the development and production of mastics, polyester and epoxy adhesives, powder adhesives, abrasives, polishing powders, waterproofing protectors, detergents, waxes and products for the maintenance of stone surfaces, sealants and chemical plugs in cartridges for the marble and building industry.

General offers a wide range of marble products, including over 200 items such as abrasives, polishing powders, waxes, detergents, water-repellent protectors, and revitalizers. Key products include marble mastic, epoxy and poly-epoxy resins, which hold a prominent position in the market. Special mention goes to poly-epoxy mastics, an innovation first introduced in Italy by General. Products like Poliepoxy and Poliep, despite attempts at imitation, remain at the top of the market due to their superior quality and mechanical strength, achieved through exclusive epoxy and polyester resin blending formulas.

Among the latest high-generation products, Epoxy Regular and Uniblock 110 stand out for their versatility and excellent performance. They are ideal for use on stone materials, porcelain stoneware bonding, and new artificial materials increasingly used in the construction and furniture industries.

General is constantly committed to the research and production of adhesives and sealants in cartridges, available in 50 ml, 200 ml, and 400 ml sizes. These products cover a wide range of applications, from bonding natural stones with each other and other materials, to funeral art, and usage on stones and artificial agglomerates. The range includes numerous formulations, colors, and performance levels, meeting the needs of new materials used by marble artisans in the industry and in furniture.
