General Mastic Compact Quartz ml.500

General Compact Quartz is an extra strong polyester mastic for bonding quartz, natural quartzite, artificial stones and engineering stone. Thanks to the use of new generation resins in Compact Quartz mastic, which allow for greater setting and mechanical strength than traditional mastics, almost like epoxy resins with much faster setting and hardening times. A further advantage of Compact Quartz mastic is that it is also resistant to washing with aggressive detergents such as (hypochlorites, degreasing or solvent-based detergents).

How to use:

Mix the mastic with 2-3% hardener (dibenzoyl peroxide).
An excess of hardener increases the speed of hardening but weakens the "hold" of the mastic.
The surfaces to be treated must be clean and dry; porosity and roughness of the surfaces favour a better adhesion of the mastic.
