Virgola Genovese Abrasive for Grinding and Polishing Marble, Stone, Concrete, and Terrazzo Floors
Virgola Genovese Abrasive is a specialized abrasive designed for grinding and polishing floors made of marble, natural stone, travertine, onyx, concrete, and terrazzo. Used with leading marble floor grinding machines (such as Achilli, Mondialmec, and Menghini & Bonfanti), it enables all processing stages, from rough grinding to natural polishing, delivering high-quality results. Made of magnesite and available in various abrasive grits, it is ideal both for restoring floors worn by foot traffic and for polishing new floors. Coarse magnesite grits are suitable for rough grinding and initial leveling. Fine synthetic abrasive (Sintex) grits are used for pre-polishing. The process is completed with Virgola 5 Extra or by using polishing powders and oxalic acid to achieve a mirror-like finish.
