ANTIK Protective, enhancer and antique look Bellinzoni

The protective Bellinzoni ANTIK is great against the ingress of water, oil, fats and moisture very suitable to give a satin gloss effect on sandblasted surfaces, etched, hammered or flamed. The ANTIK is used for antiquing and waterproofing marble artifacts, granite and stone. Very good on sand-blasted, acid treated, bush-hammered or flamed finished stone and it can also be used on brushed, honed and polished surfaces to enhance the stone colour. Laboratory tests show Bellinzoni Antik has high resistance to UV rays and prevents moulds formation.

Instructions for Use

The surface must be clean, dry and free of dust. Spread ANTIK on the material using a brush, a roller, a dry cloth, fleece spreader or a mop. It is recommended where it is possible to use a brush as it allows better penetration protection. To use, apply ANTIK with a brush, pressing lightly to make it penetrate into cracks, corners and cavities. During the application and subsequent drying, the temperature of the substrate should be between 10 and 30 ° C. In case of application of the floor with underfloor heating, turn off the heater and let the stone cool completely. It is not necessary to proceed to the polishing material.

Advice for application

• Of sandblasted materials, flamed, bush hammered, or saw cut, it is recommended to apply the product 2 times every 1 hour after the first application.
• To smooth or shiny materials apply a coat of the product being careful not to create excess.
• Please refer anyway to the applicator the decision to apply one or two coats.
• In case you want to keep the media take the satin gloss appearance, within 24 hours rubbing the surface with a cloth soaked in the product to remove any access.
• Dry with cloth or paper.
• Do not dilute the product with other solvents or water as the preparation is ready for use.
• The material to be treated must be completely dry. Another application system, suitable for small pieces, may be the one for immersion; you can also use a sponge soaked product and dab the material.
• Once treated, the stone material must be allowed to dry for up to 24 hours to complete polymerization occurs.
• In the case of treatment of statues, vases or decorative items outside, pay close attention to the gaps.
• It can be used for the treatment of stone material indoor or outdoor environments.
• Before use read the recommendations printed on the label and always carry out a preliminary test.

Approximate Product Yield

Shine or polish  marble and granite over 800 grit, with one liter.. Product can be treated 30/40 m². In the case of limestone, sandstone, marble / shine or polish concrete over 800 grit with one liter. Product can be treated 10/15 m².

Maintenance

For the maintenance of the material. We recommend the use of our LEM-3 detergent. In case of wear of the stone and as required, we recommend a re-application of the product.
