Strong 2000 by Bellinzoni is a water-repellent consolidating treatment based on siloxane resins, designed to protect and consolidate friable materials such as Lecce stone, Limestone, Giallo Egiziano, and other fragile stones. It is ideal for stairs, cladding, flooring, facades, and stone artifacts, offering effective protection against water, humidity, and acid rain, preserving the beauty and integrity of the stone. Thanks to its consolidating action, Strong 2000 strengthens and hardens the surface of fragile stones, preventing crumbling and structural degradation. It also delays corrosion and protects against calcification caused by smog and aggressive atmospheric agents. Completely invisible, it does not alter the aesthetic appearance of the material. It gives a light wet and glossy effect, maintaining the original color without creating unsightly films. Strong 2000 is particularly recommended for treating the back of tiles, as it prevents mold formation and significantly reduces the rise of moisture and salts from the substrate or the stone itself, without affecting the adhesion with the used adhesives.

Instructions for Use:

• Prepare the surface: Ensure it is dry and clean. Remove any stains, mold, and encrustations, as their removal later may be difficult.
• Tools: Brush, roller, or mop can be used. However, it is recommended to apply with a brush for optimal penetration of the protective solution.
• Application: Apply STRONG 2000 with a brush, exerting light pressure to ensure uniform penetration into cracks, corners, and cavities. Alternatively, a low-pressure sprayer can be used, keeping a distance of 20-25 cm from the surface and blotting up any excess.
• Drying: Allow the product to air-dry. Once dry, the material will be protected. If there is excess product, remove it by rubbing with a cloth soaked in the product and then blot with a dry cloth.
• Temperature: During application and drying, ensure the support temperature is between 10°C and 30°C. If applied on heated floors, turn off the heating system and allow the stone to cool completely before proceeding.

Usage and Recommendations:

• Apply the product until complete saturation of the stone.
• For highly absorbent materials, apply 2-3 layers, spaced about 20 minutes apart.
• Do not dilute the product with solvents or water as it is ready for use.
  Ensure the material is completely dry before application.
• For small items, immersion or blotting with a sponge soaked in the product is recommended.
• After treatment, allow the stone to dry for 24 hours to allow full polymerization.
• For statues, vases, or outdoor decorative items, pay extra attention to crevices to ensure even coverage.

• The Strong 2000 consolidant complies with UNI 11322 "stone flooring coverings" guidelines for design, installation, and maintenance.

Product Coverage:

• To protect and consolidate friable stones, one liter of product is sufficient for approximately 15-25 m², depending on the type and finish of the material. For highly absorbent calcareous stones, one liter covers 5-15 m².

Maintenance:

• To clean and wash the surface treated with Strong 2000, it is recommended to use the neutral detergent LEM 3 by Bellinzoni.
• In case of stone wear over time, reapply the Strong 2000 consolidant to restore protection.
