Stainless steel curved sculpting caliper useful in the fine arts for marking the distance from a sketch or copy to the sculpture to be made. The steel compasses allow the distances between the various points of the sculpture to be accurately reported and determine the proportions and dimensions of the original even on curved and irregular surfaces. Made of steel for greater strength and durability. In combination with the compasses to take precise and reliable measurements we also recommend the use of a tape measure and a stonemason's pencil.
