General Epoxy Glass 13 Epoxy Resin is a two-component solid epoxy mastic with a transparent matt colour. With Epoxy Glass resin, marble, stone, granite, ceramics, porcelain stoneware and quartz can be bonded to each other or to substrates of different materials. The main feature of General's Epoxy Glass 13 epoxy mastic is its short curing time, workability from two to four minutes, supercure after 10 to 13 minutes and complete curing in a maximum of three hours. After curing, the bond becomes a glassy structure.Composed of part (A) 500 Ml. + part (B) 500 Ml. total packaging 1 Lt.
Materials:
Marble, stone, granite, ceramic, porcelain stoneware, engineering stone
Useful for:
Excellent adhesion between different materials and substrates.
Easily tinted.
Very fast curing.
Applicable indoors and outdoors.
High resistance to weathering, acid rain, sea water.
High resistance to solvents, basic and acid environments.
Almost no shrinkage
Method of use:
Prepare the application surface;
Carefully clean the surfaces by removing all traces of dust and crumbling parts, traces of cement, plaster, grease, etc.
Better adhesion is achieved if the surface to be bonded is slightly rough.
How to prepare;
Carefully mix component A and component B in exactly the ratios indicated A:B=100:100.
We recommend mixing in small quantities (max. 100-150 g) for use in a short time before the hardening reaction starts.
How to apply;
Spread the obtained mixture on the clean and dry substrate with the help of a spatula. In the case of application on iron, it is advisable for the iron to be sanded or otherwise roughened.
After about 45 minutes, depending on the environmental conditions, it is possible to move the product.
