Tenax - PROTEX stain protective for stone
PROTEX is suitable for the surface treatment of polished stones, stone type Lecce, Vicenza stone, limestone and similar stones for both indoor and outdoor use. It is usually on sandy amorphous material also with the mixed presence of silicates and calcite. It works very well on smooth surfaces, sanded and brushed. The PROTEX stain resistant acts on the surface of the material by closing the micropores thus precluding the entry of liquids. However, the material is permeable to vapor and surface treated, free to breathe, keeps its natural properties. Does not create superficial films. After the application, you can get a slight increase of colour that depends on the type of stone. The product maintains good outdoor resistance. Conf. From Lt.1
Instructions for Use
The product must be evenly applied on dry and clean surfaces. The presence of water or dust can make the non-homogeneous treatment. The product can be applied by brush, spray, with a cloth or a sponge, taking care to evenly apply the amount that the material naturally can absorb. After a few seconds from the application, from the surface to remove excess product with a clean cloth to prevent the formation of surface films sticky. For a good result, treat the surface at least twice with an interval of 10-15 minutes from each application. The desired anti-stain effect is reached 24 hours after the treatment. In the case of floor application, wait 24 hours before walking on the surface.
IMPORTANT: when a surface is treated for the first time, it is good to evaluate the effect of a sample on a hidden corner.
