Tin oxide is an inorganic compound of tin and oxygen. Tin oxide is used with granite polishing powder to polish granite floors with floor polishing machines. It is also used to polish coral and precious stones with hardness up to 6 on the Mohs scale.
How to apply.
The granite must be sanded with a fine grit type 1000/ 1200 this preparation must be done before starting the polishing process.
Moisten the surface to be polished with clean water.
Place the grey granite and tin oxide polishing pot on the surface to be polished and apply white cotton felt or pads to the polishing machine. Make sure the felt or pad is clean and free of residue.
Operate the polishing machine, rotate the felt or pad over the surface evenly and with light pressure. The mechanical action of the machine and the heat generated by the mixture of polishing powder and tin oxide polish the granite naturally.
Continue polishing until you achieve the desired level of polish. You can check the result by observing the surface and assessing whether the desired level of polish has been achieved.
After polishing is complete, remove any residual tin oxide dust from the surface using a neutral detergent with a damp cloth.
