MASTIC SINTOLIT STRAW LIQUID

Polyester Mastic filler for marble in the paste, characterised by a quick hardening and a high capacity of adhesion and sealing, also outside. It is a stone glue and filler, Thanks to these characteristics, the liquid Sintolit is ideal for bonding and filling marble, ceramic and stone in general. It can also be used for the reconstruction of missing parts from silicone rubber molds via a spatula application. The product comes with its hardener (Benzoyl Peroxide 3% by volume).

• Full cure time: 30 minutes;

APPLICATION

Before applying the mastic marble surface needs to be scratched with sandpaper. Then clean carefully to allow the material to adhere more easily. Put on your gloves and mix the hardener to the grout as close to the recommended dose on the package. The mastic working with the spatula (a metal tool with a wooden handle): the tip is used to collect the material, the back to level it. Use your hands in case of precision work. After completing the work, wait until the grout is dry. The drying rate is listed on the package: on average just half an hour. However you can check for yourself if the drying is complete with a fingertip feeling the grout if it is hard and does not remain the imprint of the finger, the material is ready to be sanded and polished with tools usually used for marble. The tools can be cleaned with ethanol or pure acetone.
